kpCompanies is leading the search for a transformative Chief Financial Officer to serve as Animal Humane Society’s principal financial leader. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO will provide enterprise-wide financial leadership, ensuring the organization’s mission is supported by strong financial discipline, forward-looking strategy, and operational excellence.
This role calls for a strategic and analytical leader who can translate mission into financial models, bridge philanthropic and earned revenue, and provide insight that enables AHS to scale impact while maintaining financial integrity. The CFO will be a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership, guiding decisions that shape the future of a complex, multi-location nonprofit organization.
The annual salary range for this role is $180,000–$220,000, competitive and aligned with the scope of executive leadership at this level. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
